The town is in chaos with bags, bins and bundles of rubbish everywhere! What is happening?God alone knows what this badly thought out exercise has cost the ratepayer.Let us look back a few years when Axminster enjoyed a community skip on a Sunday morning - very well used and it completely avoided 'Fly-tipping'..... OK, it cost money, but what do we pay rates for? It worked!! This new system is a potential disaster and must have cost thousands - I know of at least seven people who have received two bins. Why ever won't the council listen to the local people and their specific needs?I am sorry, but I feel this whole situation is totally unacceptable and badly thought out.We live in an area, where there are many older people, some with disability, and they cannot cope and are afraid they will be penalised. Please think again and bring back the community skip to Axminster!!Michael P J SteerVine HouseLyme RoadAxminster
