Honiton Community College hopes to invite pensioners for a special Christmas meal.
Honiton Community College is hoping to bring the older and younger generations together for a special festive celebration and is appealing to local organisations to give a helping hand.
The college has joined forces with the Senior Citizens’ Centre to organise a Christmas lunch and hopes to invite approximately 80 pensioners along.
Plans are in the early stages but help is needed from local businesses and organisations to assist with funding the event. The meal will be served by staff and students at the college, with entertainment from the college band and choir.
Father Christmas will also be making a guest appearance to deliver some special presents to guests.
