Broadhembury CoE School enjoy a fascinating talk on farming.
THE children of Broadhembury CoE School became farmers for the day to celebrate its Harvest Festival.
To celebrate pupils and staff dressed up in farming outfits and enjoyed an interesting visit from a local farmer who gave a talk on dairy farming including the machinery used and the name of his favourite cow - Amanda.
Following the talk the children got to get their hands dirty and make their own bread.
To bring the day to an end the school attended a church service where the children read out their own harvest prayers and a few harvest songs.
