Burglary alert in Honiton
Residents urged to be vigilant.
Police are urging Honiton residents to remain vigilant and make sure their properties are secure following two burglaries this morning (Friday).
The burglaries occurred just off High Street today at around 6am.
A police spokeswoman said: “A male was seen trying to gain access to properties and behaving suspiciously in the area and one householder had their wallet and keys stolen from inside their house.”
The man is described as white, around 6ft tall and of medium build with short dark hair.
He was wearing a beige hoody and thought to be in his mid 20s or early 30s.
