The dramatic rise in burglaries reflects national figures - which is believed to have been fuelled by the economic crisis.He said the vehicle crime was up 44 per cent, and criminal damage by 39 per cent. But that anti-social behaviour - which had been a major issue last year - was down by 14 per cent.He said: "It does show we are doing our job and trying to police Seaton as effectively as we can.
