Bus passengers rescued from flood

A DRIVER and passengers on Honiton's ring and ride bus had to be rescued by firefighters on Monday after the vehicle got stuck in flood water near Feniton.

A DRIVER and passengers on Honiton's ring and ride bus had to be rescued by firefighters on Monday after the vehicle got stuck in flood water near Feniton. Those onboard the mini-bus were carried to dry land after the vehicle became trapped in water between Colestock and Talewater. TRIP Community Transport Association, which runs the ring and ride service, has found another bus to ensure clients can still get out to do their shopping.
