A spokesman for the Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust said the organisation was not aware of any impact on its services at any its community hospitals in East Devon.
Hospitals in East Devon have been largely unaffected by today’s junior doctor strikes.
A spokesman for the Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust said the organisation was not aware of any impact on its services at any its community hospitals in East Devon.
The spokesman added that Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital provide some services in the community hospitals, but they understand these are led by consultants and not junior doctors.
The only way these services could have been affected was if the consultants were asked to provide cover at Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
