Seaton League of Friends coffee morning and sale raises over 240
A St George’s Day coffee morning raised 240.48 for Seaton Hospital.
Organised by the League of Friends, it was held at the United Reformed Church where stalls were manned by volunteers of all ages.
Even the rain held off long enough for everyone to enjoy the live music performed by Jimmy Purvis, on his melodeon.
Manager Lycia Moore said: “I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported our event and to all our wonderful volunteers who gave up their time to help raise money for the hospital.”
