I was somewhat surprised to learn from East Devon that they do not plan to pass on the reduction in VAT on new applications for annual Parking Permits. Far from helping shops and shoppers by providing 'free parking' in the run up to Christmas it would see

I was somewhat surprised to learn from East Devon that they do not plan to pass on the reduction in VAT on new applications for annual Parking Permits.Far from helping shops and shoppers by providing 'free parking' in the run up to Christmas it would seem that they are actually increasing their charges, not only for permit holders but, if prices in our car parks have not been reduced, in their hourly charges too!Libby HollinsheadUpottery
