HONITON Town Council does not want work to start on junction improvements in High Street until at least the autumn - to give town centre traders a chance to recover from the recession.

Town clerk Lyn Hargood says she needs plenty of notice, because the work will mean the temporary relocation of Honiton's ancient street market.
