Axminster’s chamber of commerce is promoting two initiatives to help brighten up the town this coming summer.
It is supporting the Rotary Club’s Axminster in Bloom hanging baskets competition, which is open to all businesses, restaurants, inns, cafés and offices and will be judged during July. Chamber chairman Shane Morgan is also urging the town’s businesses to ‘Dress up your Shop Window’ between June 1 and 14, as part of the Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations, with a prize for the best window being donated by the chamber of commerce.
