AN INTERNATIONAL charity is calling on residents in East Devon to help organise a local version of the Big Natioanl Ceilidh, on Saturday, October 17.
WaterAid wants to organise ceilidhs, a type of barn dance with a live band, across the country and unify them all - with everyone dancing the Circassian Circle at 10pm.
Proceeds from the evenings will be donated to the charity, which works in 17 countries throughout Africa, Asia and the Pacific Region. It helps some of the world's poorest people gain access to safe water and improved hygiene and sanitation.
To find out more or to request a Big NATIONAL Ceilidh pack, visit www.wateraid.org/ceilidh or call 0207 793 4594.
