Can you give Boris a new home?

Appeal to trace his owners fails.
The mystery of a cat who was found a very long way from home will remain unsolved.
Now, Boris, the cat from Basildon, is looking for a new home.
Honiton Cats Protection issued an appeal last month to trace Boris’ owners after a micro-chip was found during a visit to the vets, which showed that he was registered to an address in Basildon.
Boris was found in Upottery and was in a poor condition - he weighed only two-and-a-half kilos and was covered in fleas. He also had to have 30 ticks removed, but is now fighting fit.
The branch’s co-ordinator, Lizzie Manley, said: “All he wants is a nice lap to sit on.
“He is so very loving and will not hunt the birds or squirrels in your garden.”
She added: “Boris is a charming chap and loves to be groomed. He loves a cuddle and his food and treats.”
Anyone who can offer Boris a home is urged to call the branch on 01404 45241.
