Carol Gilson makes presentation
THE Joe Gilson Mobility Scheme, supported by The Midweek Herald, has given away its 24th aid to a Honiton man.
Carol Gilson, who founded the scheme in memory of her late husband, presented cancer sufferer Albert Codling, of Hornbeam Close, with an electric wheelchair.
The wheelchair was donated by a reader in Falston.
“It is a lovely feeling to give to people in need the help they need to get about,” said Mrs Gilson.
