Honiton charity swaps electric wheelchair for something more substantial.
The Honiton-based Joe Gilson Mobility Scheme has donated its 27th mobility scooter to a former recipient of an electric wheelchair.
Cancer victim Brian Godfrey is feeling up to some trips in the great outdoors and has swapped the wheelchair for a scooter.
The scooter was donated to the scheme by Ann and David Clayton and was presented to Mr Godfrey by Carol Gilson, the scheme’s founder.
Mrs Gilson expressed her thanks to the Clayton family for their generous support and said she is pleased Mr Godfrey is feeling a bit better and up to trips outdoors.
