A car was found well alight at Uplyme in the early hours of Sunday morning.
On arrival to the incident in Lyme Road, at 12.32am, fire crews from Lyme Regis requested further assistance.
A fire appliance from Axminster was mobilised to the scene.
The vehicle was destroyed during the fire and crews used two hose reel jets to deal with the incident.
