A car was severely damaged in a fire at Seaton last night (Thursday November 3).

Crews from Seaton and Colyton attended the blaze at Bramble Acre, Seaton Down Hill, at around 8.30pm

They quickly established the nearby timber property had begun smouldering.

They tackled the fire using two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, one main jet, one positive pressure fan and a thermal image camera.

The car suffered around 90 per cent damage in the blaze and there was damage to around a six metre area of the property.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
