Crew find parked vehicle well alight on the public highway at Hillside
Firefighters were called to a car fire at Colyton last night (Wednesday, December 4).
The vehicle had been parked at Hillside and was well alight when the local crew arrived at around 9.40pm.
They used two hose reel jets and two breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze, and later a thermal imaging camera to assess hotspots.
Police were also in attendance.
