A car has hit the central reservation on the A30 this morning.

The Ford Focus was travelling towards Exeter at 8.45am when it was involved in the collision and spun out of control.

No other vehicle was involved.

The driver is an employee of this newspaper and is said to be unharmed. The vehicle has sustained extensive damage.

Emergency services are currently en-route, having been alerted by another member of the Midweek Herald team.
