Woman taken to hospital.

A woman was taken to hospital after her car overturned near Honiton.

Firefighters from Honiton and Ottery St Mary released the trapped woman from a private car on their arrival at the incident this morning (Wednesday), at 8.46am, near the B3177 and the Old A30 at Fenny Bridges,

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “On arrival crews confirmed one vehicle involved in a road traffic collision and one person trapped.

“One adult female was released from a private car which had overturned using hydraulic rescue equipment, the casualty was removed to hospital by land ambulance.”
