THIS is the scene that confronted motorists in Lace Walk car park, Honiton, earlier today.
A vandal used a kitchen knife to wedge open metal ‘teeth’ at the entrance to the town centre’s biggest car park.
At least one vehicle suffered popped tyres as a result.
Members of the public directed traffic away from the ‘teeth’ until the knife was removed with the help of a hammer and screwdriver.
