Fire engines called to the crash scene.
Fire engines from Honiton and Sidmouth, and the heavy rescue vehicle from Exeter Middlemoor, rushed to the scene of a road traffic collision between the A30 Patteson Cross to Iron Bridge.
Upon arrival, the crew saw that the vehicle had left the carriageway.
They also found the driver and passengers free and clear of the vehicle, and all casualties involved were in the care of ambulance personnel.
Crews made the vehicle safe from fire.
