A CAR was written off following a collision on the A35 in Axminster on Saturday, June 13.

The driver of the grey Citroen, a 49-year-old man, was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with minor injuries.

The 26-year-old woman driving a blue BMW was unhurt but her car was badly damaged on the right side.

Police were called out at 3.26pm. PC Rob Gibson said: "It's a very busy junction and road accidents are not uncommon there.
