Caravan destroyed by fire near Honiton

Experts believe the blaze was started deliberately

A fire which destroyed a caravan in a field off the A303, near Honiton, today (Monday April 11) is believed to have been started deliberately.

Fire Control mobilised two appliances from Chard to attend the incident, at around 7.30am.

Upon arrival crews got to work using compressed air foam (CAFS) to extinguish the fire and drag forks. Crews believe the cause of the fire to be deliberate, the caravan was 100 per cent destroyed by fire.
