Caravan fire at an Axmouth farm

Caravan engulfed in flame in Axmouth.

The Fire Service was called to reports of a caravan on fire at an Axmouth farm, with crews from Colyton and Seaton mobilised to this incident.

Upon arrival crews requested a third pump to attend, which was mobilised from Axminster.

Crews confirmed on static caravan was well alight, and crews got to work using two hose reel jets, four breathing apparatus and one covering jet.

Two gas cylinders were also removed from the vicinity, and all services had been isolated.

The caravan was completely destroyed by fire, with the cause believed to be accidental.
