I attended the Christmas carnival in Honiton on Saturday, December 6, as we did last Christmas and back in October 2008. What a sad, disinterested, unco-operative, unsupportive and miserable audience there was.People of Honiton and the surrounding areas did not appear to show any signs of appreciation for the floats and especially the smaller children who took part. I know that we are going through the 'credit crunch' at the moment and things might not be as easy for some as for others, but these sorts of attractions should not be only about money but about showing gratitude for these people that have given up their spare time to spread a little bit of cheer to the town. In the future, come on Honiton. Get behind the carnival - otherwise we will lose the carnival completely. Karen LentonHoniton
