Former policeman was a fantastic help.
THE chairman of Honiton and District Carnival has paid tribute to former policeman Ian Atyeo.
Bill Austin, speaking at the carnival committee’s annual meeting, said special thanks were due to Mr Atyeo “for all the help he gave the carnival during his time in Honiton”.
Mr Atyeo, who retired earlier this year, liaised closely with the carnival committee to ensure the smooth-running of both the October and December processions.
