THREE more mobility scooters are available for those in genuine need in the Honiton area.

They are being offered, free of charge, through the Joe Gilson Mobility Scheme in conjunction with the Midweek Herald.

The scheme, set up in memory of the late Joe Gilson, is administered by Mr Gilson's widow, Carol.

She said: "We have had two more mobility scooters donated to the scheme.

"I would like to thank Sue Gowler, of Whimple, and Derek Moss, of Honiton. Mr Moss has made the donation in memory of his father, Frederick."
