Cash raised for Colyford Memorial Hall

OVER £650 was raised at Colyford's annual spring fair, held last weekend.
OVER £650 was raised at Colyford's annual spring fair, held last weekend.Money raised from the Colyford Memorial Hall event will go towards refurbishing the venue.Hall chairman Howard West announced a contract had been placed with Skyline Limited for the relocation of the ladies' toilets and associated work, which will be carried out in August.He said further funds were being raised for work on the gents' toilets, a tea bar and a central heating system.He said: "I would like to thank the helpers and visitors for their efforts in raising these funds for further modernisation of the hall."Other fundraisers include a cream tea on July 11 and a five week upholstery course starting on September 23.
