SEATON Town Council has set aside £8,000 for capital projects in the coming financial year, sparking rumours it may be about to make a contribution towards a CCTV system in the town. Seaton police has already raised over £3,500 through business contributions and police funding and is hoping the town council will contribute towards a camera system it says "will make Seaton a safer place to live". The town council is also inviting applications for grants from local clubs and organisations after setting £2,000 aside for grants.
