And a vending machine at Axe Valley Community College was also hit, which police said caused around £200 worth of damage.

Both incidents took place between 3.08am and 3.29am on Saturday, September 19.

The offenders gained entry into the gym through a double glazed window, police said. The vending machine keys were then found and used to empty cash from the machines - causing some damage to the wiring.

A metal bar was used to force open the vending machine at the college, and £10 was stolen.
