Casualty freed after vehicle gets stuck down Honiton embankment

The incident took place at Marlpits Lane at 5.37pm.

Fire crews were rushed to a collision which resulted in a vehicle stuck down a steep embankment in Honiton.

The incident took place at Marlpits Lane at 5.37pm.

Honiton firefighters, assisted by the heavy rescue vehicle from Middlemoor, were called to the scene to find a person trapped within the vehicle.

The casualty was helped from vehicle by fire service personnel and then left in the hands of paramedics. Crews then made the vehicle safe.
