Cheeky thief goes fishing for valuables with a rod and line
AN enterprising burglar pushed a fishing rod through a cat flap and reeled in a haul of valuables, Axminster police have revealed.
Neighbourhood Beat Manager Kevin Bennett told Uplyme Parish Council they did have a suspect in mind for the cheeky theft, which took place in October
In the meantime he said their advice is for people not to leave keys or valuables in reach of a letterbox or cat flap.
