POLICE in Honiton are urging people to keep a close eye on their pets after a cat was shot with an air gun.
The injured cat belongs to a woman in Rosewell Close and was between last weekend and Tuesday. A police spokesman said: "This appears to be an isolated incident at this stage. The cat is alive and well, but needed veterinary attention.
"Could people keep an eye on their pets and check them for injuries?"
Any witnesses are urged to call police on 08452 777 444, quoting crime reference KH/10/74.
