Two days of celebrations are expected to include entertainment and competitions for all ages.

Pupils from local schools will add to the fun with music, flags and cycling activities.

And special boat trips will be run by Stuart Lines, and a BMX competition will be held at the skateboard.

Margaret Rogers, former Devon County Councillor for Seaton Coastal, has given 2,000 from her 2008/09 locality budget to Seaton Tourist Information Centre, which could be used to help finance the event and provide new flags.
