COLYTON History Centre could become old news after its lease at the car park ended this month.

COLYTON History Centre could become old news after its lease at the car park ended this month.The facility, which was set up five years ago, has closed because of a lack of accommodation. But the society has said it will continue to provide help and support for anyone wishing to research family history or any aspect of Colyton's past.The club said it was grateful for the support from the parish council, chamber of feoffees and business association as well as the volunteers.The society will continue to hold its monthly speaker evenings which are open to both members and non members. Meanwhile anyone requiring further information or assistance with research is invited to contact John Cochrane on (01297) 552828.
