Plans to change the use of a Seaton shop to a café have been approved under delegated powers.

Planning officers agreed that the Dairy Wagon, at 3 Fore Street, could be converted to a café, subject to conditions, including the installation of extraction equipment before any cooking equipment is installed.

In the report, officers highlighted that the change would see the loss of a retail unit from the town centre but it was pointed out that developments elsewhere would see two retail units being created.
