The whole of Chard School got into the festive spirit in the last week of term as they enjoyed a traditional Christmas lunch.

Pupils wore Christmas jumpers and pulled crackers at the festive feast.

The same evening, families and friends of Chard School were treated to a wonderful Christmas Carol Concert with festive music, readings and poetry.

Head teacher Katie Hill said: “Once again, the children wowed us with their beautiful singing and performances. Well done everyone!”

The evening was rounded off with mulled wine and mince pies in the Chapel at the school, provided by the Friends of Chard School.
