Children at Chard School were delighted to perform Aladdin to a small group of socially distanced parents in their chapel in the school grounds.
The show, by years five and six, was produced by head of English Mr Sills, who adapted the script for the small stage.
Headteacher Katie Hill said: “We couldn’t be prouder of our Cerdic children who transported us to the Arabian desert this week in their dazzling production of Aladdin.
“The whole cast sparkled in a show packed with comedy moments, brilliant musical numbers and plenty of dance moves! Having not been able to invite a live audience to an indoor performance for so long, it certainly was a magic carpet ride we didn’t want to end!”
