RESIDENTS at Chardtsock are busy preparing for their big day on Saturday (September 3).
Since it was launched 13 years ago the village’s street fayre has regularly attracted more than 2,000 visitors and raised some 34,000 for local charities and good causes.

The Circus Whiz skills workshop gives people the chance to try their hand at juggling, magic and general slapstick mayhem.
The circus theme continues in the evening when Merlin Cadogan, three times Guinness world record holder, will be performing his underwater escapology act as seen on TV’s Britain’s Got Talent.
The street fayre will involve more live music than ever before on two stages. Local acts Out for the Count, Seatrees, Arthur Shaw, Cryostorm, Elliot E Bastin, The Lost and Found, Mick Whitworth, Kelly Osborne
and Transition will be performing throughout the day and into the evening.
The ‘Great Panto Horse Derby’, introduced last year will return by popular demand, hosted by Chardstock Amateur Dramatic Society, and will include show jumping, flat racing, dressage and groomed events,
