Fire crew tackles early-morning vehicle blaze

A vehicle fire was extinguished by crews during the early hours of this morning (Sunday).

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service crew from Axminster was called to Chardstock at around 3.09am when a vehicle was found to be well alight.

Hose reel jets were used to put out the fire and the incident was left in the hands of the police when the area was made safe.
