Charges are killing trade

I wonder if EDDC will supply IP addresses of the so-called respondents to their online survey who supported car parking charges rising?

No one would support such a foolish move. Our car parks are over-priced and do nothing to support our small businesses, who pay the highest rates for little in return.

East Devon District Council is slowly killing off all trade in our high streets.

Just remember, when you cast your vote in the general election, what party runs EDDC - because you will be giving them a mandate to take more in taxes.

I ask that all car parkers, who leave with time still on their ticket, to hand it on for another person entering the car park.
