A CHARITY shop in Lyme Regis is appealing for donations and volunteers. Tenovus, at 48 Broad Street, is a cancer charity which raises money for screening units for rural areas. Jan McCallum, who has recently taken over the management of the shop, said: I

A CHARITY shop in Lyme Regis is appealing for donations and volunteers.Tenovus, at 48 Broad Street, is a cancer charity which raises money for screening units for rural areas.Jan McCallum, who has recently taken over the management of the shop, said: "I would like this shop to do exceptionally so I am appealing for donations of good quality books, bric-a-brac and clothes."Also, we would welcome anyone who wanted to volunteer to help."For more information, call in at the shop of phone (01297) 444748.l There is the option for tax-payers to 'gift aid' their donations, which will mean an extra 28p to the pound will go to the charity.
