A Seaton woman who says she has “an itchy hand for a photo” has produced a charity calendar, using her own pictures of the town.

Janet Lang loves capturing local scenes, and has used 12 photos depicting locations including Cliff Field Gardens, the Seaton Hole and the River Axe towards Axmouth, at taken at different times of year.

Each page also features a poem she has written about the town.

Janet said she designed the calendar in thanks for her recovery after she was successfully treated for cancer earlier this year. During her chemotherapy she was amazed by the kindness and support she had from local people, as well as her husband, John.

The calendar is being sold to raise money for Seaton Friends Hospiscare at Home. It is available for £5 from their charity shops and in Byrne Jones.

See our letters page for Janet’s message to the people of Seaton, to whom she feels such gratitude.
