Charity’s chief officer steps down

Ann Ovens leaves Age UK Devon after 18 years.

ANN Ovens, the chief officer of Age UK Devon for 18 years, has decided to leave the charity.

Joanna Davey has been named as the interim chief officer and she will be supporting Age UK Devon through a period of change.

A spokesperson said: “There will be some changes to the staffing structure and ethos of the charity, some small and some more substantial, but our commitment to supporting and empowering older people in Devon will not change.”
