Operation Everest forms part of a series of action days, organised by the police to demonstrate the extensive and varied work being done by Devon and Cornwall Constabulary to reassure and keep the public safe.
Chief Constable Stephen Otter said: "These days of action are a clear demonstration of how we are listening to the concerns of the public and how we are acting on them. "We will once again be concentrating on those areas that have been raised as particular issues by local residents and where we feel we can make tangible changes to the quality of life in neighbourhoods.
"It is important to remember that, while these 'days of action' deliver real results, good work goes on every day to keep communities in Devon and Cornwall safe.
