A CHILD'S bag was stolen after a car window was smashed in Lyme Regis on Saturday, May 2.

The black and brown bag with Mickey Mouse on the front contained sentimental items, such as irreplaceable photos of a recent family holiday on the digital camera.

A Nintendo games machine, games plus and a pink mobile were also taken.

The silver Kia Sedona had been from a car parked in the Pitt House NCP in Broad Street, Lyme Regis on Saturday, May 2.

Police arrested a suspect shortly after the incident, who is currently in police custody and was detained as being wanted on an existing warrant.
