CHILDREN as young as 14 have been found in possession of cannabis, according to Lyme Regis police.

Pc Richard Winward said they are trying to find out where the children are getting it and make arrests.

He called on parents to help them in the fight against drugs and take note of any changes in their child's behaviour.

He said: "I would be very happy to discuss any concerns or suspicions parents may have about their child or friends.

"Apart from the obvious health risks of using drugs, being caught in possession can seriously affect the young person's future plans."

Anyone who wishes to speak to the police can call 01305 222 222.
