THE taste buds of young children are becoming more sophisticated, according to a recent survey.

THE taste buds of young children are becoming more sophisticated according to a recent survey.The survey was carried out by Lightspeed Research and revealed that almost a quarter of the region's children under two have tried houmous.A spokesman said: "Gone are the days of feeding children mashed banana and a cheese sandwich. Their tastes are much more sophisticated, with houmous becoming a staple in many parts of the country, particularly in the south west.
