Coffee morning boosts funds to keep the service running

CHOCOLATE in all its irresistible forms was the star of a fund raising event at Axminster yesterday (Thursday).

A coffee morning, specially designed to tempt the sweet-toothed, was held to raise money for the town’s tourist information centre.

A steady stream of visitors went along to the Church Rooms to support the organisation, which has to find some £10,000 a year to keep the service going, since major funding was withdrawn around eight years ago.
